Is the "Medici Effect" lacking in general surgery?
The Medici Effect needs curiosity and diversity so that revolutionary ideas can arise. Diversity is lacking in surgery. Can we change that?
I was graduated in Medicine in 2004 in Faculdade de Medicina de Coimbra, Portugal. I completed the General Surgery residency in Centro Hospitalar de Coimbra (Covões) with the best national classification.
I am a General Surgeon since 2012 and I am dedicated to phlebology, minimally invasive surgery (adrenal, colon, hepatobiliary, hernia), and diabetic foot. I am author of several national and international publications.
