On the 22nd of June 2024, Hotel Vila Galé Coimbra (Portugal) will host the “Adrenal Surgery: When and How” meeting. We are organizing this scientific event with passion and dedication, aiming at a nice, friendly, and fruitful discussion about adrenal surgery.
We divided the meeting into two parts. The first one will be conducted by experienced endocrinologists, who will tell us how to diagnose the adrenal nodule, and which ones we should operate on. A second part will be dedicated to surgery. We will address three minimally invasive approaches so that the attendees can learn about the positive and negative features of the techniques. This will help the surgeon/urologist decide which one to choose.
The program is now completed (click here). It counts high-level endocrinologists (Dr. Lucia Fadiga, Dr. Joana Couto), high-level and very experienced urologists (Prof. Dr. Arnaldo Figueiredo), and highly skilled surgeons (Dr. Carlos E. Costa Almeida, Prof. Dr. Ozer Makay). The highest moment of the meeting will be the conference lecture by Prof. Dr. Martin Walz, a mentor and a friend, “father” of posterior retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy, who will talk about the best in adrenal surgery.
Registration is limited to 100 attendees, and >50% of places have already been sold (only 40 left). This will be an out-of-this-world meeting you won’t want to miss.
