The "SEPS DAY" is the only hands-on course about Subfascial Endoscopic Perforator Surgery (SEPS). This minimally invasive technique treats all incompetent perforators of the lower limbs, which are associated with varicose ulcers and varicose vein recurrence. While treating incompetent perforators, doctors offer their patients the best solution to heal a varicose ulcer and decrease the recurrence rate. SEPS has better results than percutaneous ablation techniques because these are ultrasound-dependent.
After eight extraordinary editions, "SEPS DAY" strikes back with its 9th edition. Once again, it will be held in Castelo Branco (Portugal) at the General Surgery Department of Hospital Amato Lusitano of the ULS Castelo Branco. It will be on the 16th of November 2023, starting at 8 a.m. with a theoretical introduction, followed by hands-on with active participation of attendees. A farewell lunch will set the end of the working day.
In the past editions, several national and international surgeons learned from us how to perform this technique, along with valuable tricks and tips. You are welcome to attend the 9th edition of the hands-on course "SEPS DAY". Registrations are limited to 4 participants (remaining registrations will enter the waiting list): sepsdays@yahoo.com
