Subfascial Endoscopic Perforator Surgery (SEPS) is a minimally invasive technique used to treat incompetent perforators of the lower limbs. When incompetent, perforating veins are responsible for varicose veins recurrence and for varicose leg ulcer. Is advised to treat them aimed at reducing varicose veins recurrence rate, help ulcer healing and decrease ulcer recurrence. In this setting, we were pleased to be contacted by Dr Dimitar Runkov and to welcome three excellent doctors from Bulgaria interested in learning from us some tips of this technique. It was a great time, full of experiences and tips exchange, which will make us all better surgeons and humans.

Observing, talking, analysing, questioning and exchanging ideas are all crucial to grow as a person and as a surgeon. I say thank you to all people involved.

Hope to meet this great group again.
