January the 4th 2023 is history. I believe it is a great day for Portuguese surgery, for my fellow friends, and for me. This is the official date of publication of the book for which I am editor and author: “Posterior Retroperitoneoscopic Adrenalectomy. Indications, Technical Steps, and Outcomes”.
It is edited by SPRINGER and is the first edition. With 12 chapters written by a group of international experts (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Turkey), the book aims at making posterior retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy the new gold standard for adrenal tumors. This book is the “expert” a surgeon needs to start performing this minimally invasive technique.
It is now available at Springer and other online bookstores, including Amazon. It is available as an eBook or as a Hardcover book. Additionally, a step-by-step video is also available to complement the technical description in the book.
