I graduated in Medicine in 2004 from Faculdade de Medicina de Coimbra, Portugal. I completed the General Surgery residency in Centro Hospitalar de Coimbra (Covões) with the best national classification.

I have been a General Surgeon since 2012. Today I am dedicated to endocrine surgery, minimally invasive surgery (adrenal, colon, gallbladder, hernia), Laser treatments (sinus, hemorrhoids), and varicose veins. I am the author of several national and international publications. I am also the editor of two surgery books edited by Springer.
